According to Walfoot (as translated by Sport Witness), Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for Antonio Nusa as well as his Club Brugge teammate Andreas Skov Olsen.
Since the January transfer window shut, several sources have suggested that the Lilywhites could reignite their interest in Nusa during the summer after failing to get a deal for the winger over the line last month (Charlie Eccleshare –The View from The Lane podcast).
Tottenham are looking at Nusa and Olsen from Club Brugge
That claim has now been backed up by Walfoot, who say that not only are Spurs ‘still interested’ in the 18-year-old but they are also looking at fellow attacker Olsen.
With both players now said to be on the North London club’s wishlist, it is alleged that Club Brugge are ‘rubbing their hands’ in anticipation of a big fee.
It is explained that the Belgian side wants a fee of around €37m (£31.6m) for Nusa but the report does not reveal how much Olsen is valued at.
This is not the first time that Tottenham have been credited with an interest in the Denmark international, with the 24-year-old himself admitting last summer that the Lilywhites did come forward to seek information about his availability (Ekstra Bladet).
Spurs Web Opinion
While Andreas Skov Olsen has been on Tottenham’s radar since his Bologna days, his career has not delivered as much as it promised over the last few years and I do not see why Spurs would be interested in him right now. At 24 years of age, the Dane cannot be classified as one for the future.
