We’ve got size 4 – 24 bodies & tried on the same PLT looks… the dresses were bang-on but their measurements are WAY off
FINDING the perfect outfit can be tricky if you don’t look like the models online.
That’s why a group of four friends who range from a size 4 – 24 all tried on the same summer outfits from Pretty Little Thing to see they really look like.
There was an issue with the sizing on some of the dresses for the group[/caption] They loved the summery outfits but were disappointed by the measurements[/caption]Debbie Crown shared the huge haul of looks on her YouTube channel, and even though some of the outfits were stunning, the group agreed there was a major issue with the sizing.
The first outfit consisted of a bright satin orange shirt, which they grabbed for £24.
“I would downsize in this because I don’t like how oversized it is, but I love how it feels and I love everything else about it,” Debbie said.
Although it was baggy on most of the group, the shirt was too tight for size 24 Natasha, so it didn’t have to same effortless look.
They paired it with two different skirts, the first one was a bright ruched style that Debbie bought after spotting it on Molly-Mae – but it turned out to be a bit of a let down for the girls.
“I don’t like the way it’s compressed my hips, I would’ve gone a size up,” Debbie said.
The leather skirt was much better and the group agreed it suited all their different body shapes and would be perfect for summer, especially because it’s only £15.
That said, size 18 Gabby thought it would look better if she sized up or wore control underwear with the look.
The star of the show was definitely the sheer maxi dress, which was reduced from £20 to just £6 online.
The saucy dress would be perfect as a beach cover-up with a bikini underneath, or for a night out.
Although the dress was slightly loose on some of the group, they agreed it still looked stunning, especailly on size 18 Gabby who wore high-waited underwear with it.
The next dress was a total fail and the measurements were so far off the girls struggled to get into it.
Debbie said: “It looks nice but it’s a very stupid dress, very very stupid.”
“Why did it not fit everybody including Connie? This is like two sizes off,” she said.
The dress was so tight on Debbie’s arms that she could hardly move, and even size 4 Connie was uncomfortable in the look.
