Kieran rose to fame for his iconic role in the BBC series after stopping Will’s plan.
But after he left the show, he said he was “hounded by fans” to join EastEnders as fans believed he could smash it as Walford’s next villain.
“We are ‘in talks’ with EastEnders now, my agent and I are hoping to sort something out,” Kieran exclusively told Daily Star.
The actor added: “I was swamped with calls to go on EastEnders after the show, people were saying ‘He’s an EastEnd geezer’.
Kieran also stated that he would love to perform “any villain roles” – one of which is taking over Mick Carter‘s character – and that he is “looking forward to getting started this year.”
He revealed: “Loads of people have said I should fill in the Mick Carter role, so I’d be more than up for it.
The actor went on to say that he would “100% give it a go,” but that if not, he had other plans with “British filmmakers” to make his “acting debut” at the end of the year.
So, wherever Kieran ends up, fans are guaranteed to see him. Whether it’s in a soap or a film.
Mick Carter’s final scenes aired on Christmas Day as actor Danny Dyer bowed out of the soap after nine years.
