Daredevil dad sailing across the Atlantic in tiny boat made from household item in record-breaking bid
A DAREDEVIL dad has set off across the Atlantic in a one metre-long boat he made in his garage.
Andrew Bedwell, 49, must sit still aboard the tiny tub for the three-month, 1,900-mile trip, as there is so little room.

It took him three years to build the fibreglass craft — which is raising money for cancer research and is named Big C.
Experienced yachtsman Andrew, of Scarisbrick, Lancs, said he will miss cuddles from his daughter Poppy, ten, but “wanted a big challenge before I’m 50”.
He left Canada on Saturday, aiming for Falmouth, Cornwall, by late August.
