I have a £102,000 Tesla – here are the three reasons why I hate my expensive EV
A TESLA owner has revealed the three things he “hates” about his £100,000 vehicle as he rubbished the expensive EV.
The man, who goes by @tagaco2752328 on TikTok, decided to share the changes he would make to his Tesla Model X.
He believes the US company should start by creating simple changes such as the repositioning of its features.
In a video, the man could be seen pointing at his luxury jet-black vehicle, which has an estimated worth of £102,000.
He highlighted that he struggles to charge his Telsa because you can only charge it on one side.
The man pointed to the left side of the car and said: “I just really don’t like that you can only charge the car from this side because the charger from my garage is on this side ( the right ). So I have to bring the cord all the way around.”
He continued his rant and explained that he also has an issue with the spoiler.
“I just don’t really like how this spoiler is fixed – it doesn’t go up or down it’s just up like that,” he added.
The TikToker then walked over to his back door and said it was hard to access the button for the falcon wing to go up.
He highlighted that the full feature was tainted by the placing of the locks.
“Also one of the ways to shut the door is this button right here, but if you are not 6ft tall then you can’t really reach it,” he stressed.
“I know there is a button right here but it would just be easier if there was one here as well.”
Despite his annoyance, he had some good things to say about the popular car.
The TikToker concluded: “But one thing I absolutely do love, is that if you want to close all of the doors, you just click the top of the key and they close automatically.”
In response, one Tesla fan wrote: “I love Teslas bro.”
Another commented: “Can’t make everyone happy.”
The TikTok user has previously spoken about his love for Tesla.
He showed off his white Tesla Model 3 and boasted about its huge screen in a follow-up video.
Speaking about the “cool” detail, he said: “You can play all sorts of games while your car charges or while you’re parked.
“You can even watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube or Twitch.
“Probably one of the coolest features of the car is the whoopee cushion where you can make any seat of the car fart.”
It comes after a Tesla owner decided to replace his car for a Mercedes EQS.
YouTuber Austin Evans only had his Tesla for two years but said there was too many faults to keep it.
He claimed the dashboard lacked physical controls and said the Bluetooth connection on the door handle often failed.
Austin further claimed that the panel underneath the car dragged along the road.
He told Insider: “It was like death by a thousand cuts.
“There were just a bunch of little issues that piled up.”
Meanwhile, another owner said his 2022 Tesla Model S Plaid had several problems shortly after he purchased it.
He said the interior was “flimsy” and said the door “doesn’t even close properly.”
The TikTok user, named @stathios, explained: “I mean this thing is flimsy, it looks like it’s held together by duct tape. Everything is just so Fisher-Price.
“If you want to pretend like you’re saving the planet, buy an Audi e-tron GT.”
