I’m a cleaning pro & tested Scrub Daddy’s new Tangerine paste against a fan favourite – here’s what’s worth the cash
A CLEANING pro has put Scrub Daddy’s newest cleaning paste to the ultimate test to see how it compares to another fan favourite – and suggests it might not be worth the hype.
Like most of us, Mrs Messy relies on The Pink Stuff Miracle Paste when there’s a tough bit of grease or grim that won’t budge.
However, after spotting Scrub Daddy’s latest offering, their new Tangerine Cleaning Paste, she decided to put it to the test to see how it compared to the fan favourite.
Using both products on her dirtiest frying pan, she said: “Scrub Daddy came out with a new product, Tangerine Paste, that’s supposed to be better than The Pink Stuff.
“I bought it and I’m gonna test both so you don’t have to.”
She teased: “One of these two products is 100 times better than the other one. I was shocked!”
During the one-minute video, the cleaning fan is seen attacking half of a dirty frying pan with both products to compare them side by side.
The TikTokker added: “I scrubbed both sides for four mins.
“The Pink Stuff Paste is better than Scrub Daddy Tangerine Paste.”
At the end of the reel, she reveals that while The Pink Stuff side is now entirely clear of burnt grease and food, some black bits remain on the parts where she tried out Scrub Daddy’s latest offering.
Below the video, she added: “Maybe their paste is better on different surfaces other than cooking pans.”
Shoppers can pick up The Pink Stuff Miracle Paste from various retailers, including Sainsbury’s for as little as £1.65.
Sadly The Scrub Daddy Tangerine Cleaning Paste isn’t available to buy in the UK yet, however, it’s currently priced at $7.99 (£6.39) in Target.
Fans loved her test, with the review gaining more than 88,500 likes and two million views.

In the comments, TikTokkers shared their reactions, with one writing: “PINK rules!!!”
“From what I remember the tangerine clean is made with 100% natural products so it’s way less harmful, though not as effective,” suggested another.
A third added: “I knew it lol, pink stuff.”
The content creator replied: “It wins every time.”
Although not all were convinced it was a fair test, with another commenting: “You never use the same amount of product it kills me.”
Mrs Messy responded: “I actually used more of the tangerine clean paste even though it didn’t do a good job anyway.”
