But when he died aged 83 in 2018 his children — Jessica, 58, Marcus, 57, and Elizabeth, 55 — learned they had been left just £5,000 each.
Some £2million went to friends, assistants, carers and extended family members.
A £4million trust was set up in his name to “benefit the people of the city and county of Leicester”.
Jessica claimed the will was “irrational” and that her controlling dad had a “personality disorder”.
But the High Court, sitting in Birmingham, ruled for the trust.
