In the clip, Courtney said: “Here’s a realistic evening routine when I’m living in my van solo in the city.”
Courtney often starts with her least favourite job which involves emptying her pee jar.
While parked up, Courtney simply dumps the jar into a drain.
She then parked up at a beach so she could get on with her shower routine in the van without being hassled by anyone.
The young woman then got changed into her pyjamas and began cleaning and tidying the van.
She admitted it is often filthy by the end of the day because it’s so small.
Once the van is tidy, Courtney likes to sit down and eat dinner before getting her bed ready for sleep and putting window covers on.
After getting ready for bed, Courtney then begins to drive to find the best spot to go to sleep in without being bothered or bothering anyone.
She added that sometimes finding a parking spot she can stay for the entire night can take a long time.
“Some night that’s easier than others, and on the hard nights I often ask myself ‘what am I doing with my life,'” she explained.
However, Courtney said once she’s found it she is able to relax in her ‘cosy safe place’ for the night.
The clip garnered over 56million views on their YouTube account Courtandnate1, thousands of people took to the comment section to share their thoughts on van life.
While many said they loved the freedom it gave Courtney – many were grossed out by the toilet situation.
One person wrote: “The very act of having to empty the pee jar everyday would make me question my life’s choices.”
Another commented: “‘Emptying my pee jug.’ That is one of the most cursed sentences I’ve ever heard.”
“That looks lovely,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Ok ik she said she questions what she’s doing with her life but honestly I think she’s living the life it looks amazing to live in an RV.”
“She just casually said “I took my toilet out”,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “This van be better than my entire house.”
