I’ve found a genius way to still dry my clothes outside in winter – it saves me so much money on electricity bills
WHEN winter comes around, it can be hard to get your clothes dry inside your home.
However, one woman has revealed how the colder months don’t stop her from drying her laundry outside, even when it rains.
US-based Noelle shared how she puts up a tent outside in order to continue using their outdoor drying space.
On her @our.wandering.roots account, she wrote: “In the south we don’t get snow, we get rainy season.
“So I’ve put up a laundry tent to continue drying outside.
“Time to power through rainy season.”
She added that the hack is crucial to her as she doesn’t want to have to use a laundromat.
In the clip, Noelle showed how she had put up a white gazebo style tent in her outdoor space.
She had then added a number of washing lines underneath, which enables her to peg up her wet laundry.
Noelle can then use the wind and fresh air to dry her clothes without having to spend money on expensive dryers or radiators.
Many people were fans of her hack, with one even hailing it as “genius.”
Meanwhile, another woman shared how she was fed up with constantly having clothes horses up in her flat – but discovered a good drying trick.
When putting out her bedding to dry one day, she covered the clothes horse with the bedsheet and placed it near the radiator.
Alix was stunned to realise the sheet had created a pocket of hot air, drying the clothes underneath within just two hours.
“It was kind of a eureka moment.” Alix, a postwoman, revealed.
