My favorite drugstore buys are just as good as pricier products – I even found a $9 dupe for Nars’ $32 ‘orgasm’ blush
A MAKEUP artist has shared some of her favorite affordable beauty products that are just as good as the expensive ones on the market.
She rattled off her go-to list of drugstore cosmetics, including an affordable dupe for a $32 Nars blush.
Bridal consultant and makeup artist Hailey Quick Dornellas (@_qtips) knows how to get an amazing face beat with budget-friendly beauty products.
In an Instagram Reel, she listed the products she’s used that are “arguably better than high-end.”
She first shared her favorite mascara and said to save your money and instead buy the L’Oreal Paris Telescopic Original Mascara, $13.99 at Target.
Hailey explained that “almost all mascaras in the world are manufactured in the same place.”
Next, she gushed about the Milani Baked Blush, $9, in the shade Luminoso, which is a dupe for the Orgasm Nars, $32.
It’s so pigmented that she said that it can also double as a highlighter.
She admitted that she’s tried almost every Sephora brand color corrector, and favors the the green e.l.f Camo Concealer Corrector, $5, for redness.
“You do not need to be spending $20, $30 on a liquid lipstick,” she said.
She added that the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Matte Lipstick, $10.99, in the shade Breakfast in Bed, is the “best” she has ever used on her lips.
Hailey also praised the “beginner-friendly” and waterproof L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner, $8.99.
In addition, she declared that NYX Professional Makeup Epic Ink Waterproof Eyeliner, $9.99, was just as good as the one from Kat Von D’s cosmetics line.
She also revealed that the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Voluminous Matte Lipstick, $9.99 in the shade Le Nude Admirable is a “dead ringer” for Charlotte Tilbury’s popular lipstick shade Pillow Talk.
Hailey talked further about several other beauty products that are a welcome addition to your makeup bag.
