Stormzy made secret generous gift to the family of teenage knife crime victim
AS one of the most influential men in British music, Stormzy has always tried to use his voice for good.
The artist was among hundreds who turned out to pay tribute to schoolgirl Elianne Andam last October after she was fatally attacked by a teenager on her way to school in Croydon, where he grew up.

A source said: “Michael will go out of his way to help anyone he can.
“He was affected by what happened to Elianne and reached out to her family.
“He paid for them to go on holiday too.
“It was a kind gesture which he hoped would give them something to look forward to when everything has been so very bleak.”
Speaking previously about the issue of knife crime, Stormzy said more needed to be done at a national level.
He said: “The knife crime conversation is a very, very big conversation.
“I grew up in the ’hood, but where we grew up, you understand that it’s a bigger problem than like a big rapper just saying, ‘Oh kids – put the knives down’.
