Mums race to Tesco to get their hands on a baby bedtime must-have that’s scanning for just £1.60
PARENTS are racing to Tesco to snap up a bargain buy to help their little ones drift of peacefully.
It’s no secret that getting your tot to sleep safe and sound can be a challenge, especailly in the first six moths, so when one shopper spotted this deal it was too good to pass up.
Sarah picked up the Safe Nights With Silent Night Sleep Bag for just £1.60, down from £16.
The 2.5 tog sleep bag is machine washable and is described on the Silent Nights website as “a safe and comfortable alternative to blankets.”
The mum was chuffed with her bargain find, and took to the popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share the impressive price cut.
“Fab bargain in Tesco Inverness today,” she wrote in the post alongside a snap of her purchase and the receipt.
Other parents were so impressed by the reduced price that they dashed to their local store to try and hunt down the same deal.
“Great find,” one commented on the post.
“Have to see if our [Tesco] has any in,” a second commented, tagging a friend.
But one shopper noted that the sleep bags were still marked at their original price in their local Tesco.
“Still £16 in ours,” they noted.
That’s not the only bargain Tesco shoppers have been loving recently though, they’ve also been raving about some seriously cheap bedding.
Posting in the same a private Facebook group, which boasts 266,900 members, one shopper named Gillian Marr shared a picture of her haul and penned: “Bargains from Tesco today.”
Gillian’s haul included a brushed cotton single fitted sheet, which was slashed from £8 to only 80p, as well as an easy care grey single fitted sheet, which had been reduced from £6.50 to just 65p.
The Tesco shopper also got a floral print double duvet set, which had been reduced from £15 to only £1.50, saving her a whopping £13.50.
Not only this, but the bargain hunter also got her hands on a reduced duvet too.
Gillian later confirmed that she found her bargain buys in a Tesco store in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

What can I get with Tesco Clubcard?
TESCO'S Clubcard scheme allows shoppers to earn points as they shop.
These points can then be turned into vouchers for money off food at the supermarket, or discounts at other places like restaurants and days out.
Each time you spend £1 in-store and online, you get one point when you scan your Clubcard.
Drivers using the loyalty card get one point for every two litres spent on fuel.
One point equals 1p, so 150 points gets you a £1.50 money-off voucher, for example.
You can double their worth when you swap them for discounts with “reward partners”.
For example, £12 worth of vouchers can be swapped for a £24 three-month subscription to Disney+.
Or you can swap 50p worth of points for £1 to spend at Hungry Horse pubs.
Where you can spend them changes regularly, and you can check on the Tesco website what’s available now.
Tesco shoppers can also get Clubcard prices when they have the loyalty card.
The discounted items change regularly and without a Clubcard you’ll pay a higher price.
These Clubcard prices are usually labelled on shelves, along with the non-member price.
But it’s worth noting that just because it’s discounted doesn’t necessarily make it the cheapest around, and you should compare prices to find the best deal.
