TRYING to get luscious locks can be tricky, especially if you have naturally fine or thin hair.
One woman claims that you don’t have to use expensive products or shampoo to get beautiful hair, after her grandma shared an amazing hack.

Though these methods may seem like old wives’ tales, the influencer swears by one unusual haircare product after seeing her grandma use it for years.
She excitedly told fans: “My 60 year old grandmother has amazingly long hair because she bathes her hair in nettle tea every single day.”
According to the TikTok user, it has helped keep her relative’s hair thick and she even challenged others to use it for a week – saying that they would have ‘immediate results’.
There is even a little science to back up her claims as stinging nettle is rich in vitamins A, B, C and minerals which can improve hair strength.
It is also anti-bacterial and help to improve conditions like Dandruff.
Before you going running to the kettle though, it’s worth noting that you don’t have to use it every day to get results.
Instead, you can use it as a treatment or a rinse on your normal wash day.
Simply, add 5 tablespoons of nettle tea to 2 cups of boiling water and allow the mix to steep for 5 to 10 minutes.
Once you have done this, you can then strain the mix into a jar and once it’s cool you can use it as a hair rinse (yes, it really is that easy).
