Ashley Judd to Trump Supporters in Her Family: ‘You Voted for a “P—y Grabber’ (Videoi
Actress and sexual abuse activist Ashley Judd gave an impassioned speech Saturday prior to the Washington D.C. Women’s March and President Donald Trump wasn’t the only target of her ire — so was her famous family.
Judd said that it angered her that people in her family would vote for Trump in spite of the scandal that came to light on “Access Hollywood” and her own personal history of abuse.
“For me, it’s not about the wall, it’s not about any of that stuff,” she said. “It’s about, you voted for a p—y grabber. You voted for someone who calls his wife a piece of ass, whose daughter is his favorite sex symbol. It really boils down, to me, to the sexual assault and misogyny piece.”

Judd, a three-time rape survivor, spoke with California Congresswoman Barbara Lee about coping with her abuse and dealing with Trump voters in her family.
“I’m a rape survivor and a survivor of incest and I lived alone for two years as a child in two different states,” Judd said. “The fact that there were adult men in my family who failed to protect me as a child [and] voted for him was really re-traumatizing.”
After the talk with Rep. Lee, Judd took part in the Women’s March and recited a slam poem to the estimated crowd of 500,000 protesters. The poem attacked Trump while serving as a self-declaration of being a “nasty woman,” a label Trump used against Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign.

“I am a nasty woman,” she read, “but not as nasty as a man who looks like he bathes in Cheeto dust, a man whose words are a dis to America, Electoral College-sanctioned hate speech…I didn’t know devils could be resurrected, but I feel Hitler in these streets, a moustache traded for a toupee, Nazis renamed.”
