Around 130 Tesla mechanics have opted to join IF Metall, a union that represents workers in the country’s automotive sector. Tesla’s Swedish subsidiary, TM Sweden, has refused to sign onto a customary collective bargaining agreement with IF Metall. In response, mechanics represented by the union walked off the job at the end of last month.
