Following the decision of several EU member states, including France and Germany, to temporarily suspend vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine, Luxembourg has decided to follow suit.
Police have seized a nine-metre (30-foot) narco submarine in southern Spain in what is believed to be the first such vessel built in Europe, Europol said on Monday.
Luxembourg's vaccine campaign should, on paper, be running smoothly. Vaccine centres have been set up across the country, with plenty of staff recruited to administer the jabs, but the vaccination rate remains low. Officials say the reason for the slow uptake is the most crucial of all - a lack of available doses.
