5 Improvements We Hope to See in Diablo II: Resurrected
There are few multiplayer series rather as cherished as Diablo. And, unfortunately, few MMOs have dated quite as poorly as Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. After the remaster Diablo 2 Resurrected Items was recently declared, I was amazed to hear that anyone would continue to be interested in playing it. In the end, Diablo IV is about the way, and, well, Diablo III exists.
But I'm not alone in needing to go back to a simpler time in the series. Thanks to the company's preservation of the source code, an almost carbon-copy of that expertise can be achieved. However there are a couple of things they should incorporate from the present generation of games, little tweaks that enhance but don't substantially change Diablo II at its heart. Here are five items that will polish the gameplay while maintaining the integrity of the game's unique texture.
This is a fairly obvious request from the old school Diablo II participant: an increased stock distance. The limited space of the player's individual and back space, plus the tiny bit afforded by the Horadric cube, is just not sufficient to enjoy the complete breadth of the Diablo II experience. While loot lack and modest inventory slots add rarity and value to the game's enormous treasure system, I really could do with at least a little more trunk space--maybe not the player inventory, because that feels like cheating, but what the participant can stash back at the camp. It would make set collecting a much more tempting prospect.
This petition may be somewhat controversial if you are the type of person who likes to endure and requires that badge of honor very seriously. It is a shame that for all the years I played Diablo II in pursuit of great loot, I seldom got to see the very best of what the game had to offer, regardless of how much time I poured into it. There are so many fascinating and powerful Rune words, for instance, that I never came close to seeing since there was no chance I'd ever obtain, sayan Amn rune within my life. And did you know that an Uber Diablo could be summoned if enough Stones of Jordan are offered on a server at the same time? There are a lot of things I never understood or had a chance to discover due to the abysmal drop speed.
While I say I need"enhanced" friends lists for Diablo II: Resurrected, what I mean is, I would like a friend listing. The game did not come out at a period in which we had as numerous multiplayer niceties because we do now. So as to even add a buddy, you needed to use text bar controls, which you had to do to bring up the list of people you'd added to Buy Diablo 2 Items determine if they were online.
