EA Sports has confirmed that it will continue to release updates and support for Madden 22 coins's "Franchise" game mode following reports suggest that the company would not release any further updates on it. In a statement made to IGN an official from EA Sports said more updates are expected as part Madden NFL 22's live-service model.
"We do not like to speak about rumors or speculation; however, we're determined to continue to enhance Franchise as part of our ongoing Madden NFL 22 live service and further," the spokesperson said. "This includes two forthcoming Franchise update that we'll release to players in Madden NFL 22. We'll provide more details on these updates in the new year."
Sports Gamers Online reported recently that EA Sports opted to cancel further updates to Madden NFL's Franchise modes. Madden's Franchise mode has proven to be an area of contention in the series over time, with fans asking for bigger, more robust updates for the mode , and not always getting what they want.
GameSpot's Madden NFL 22 review was a raving endorsement of the game in part because of its "meaningful additions" for the mode Franchise. This includes new weekly strategies.
