BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A registered sex offender from Niagara Falls was sentenced to 30 years in prison for production of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced Tuesday.
In September of 2020, officials said 35-year-old Michael Lanham used his cell phone to take a sexually explicit photo of a minor. He then distributed the photo to an undercover officer on the messaging app Kik the following month.
Lanham was convicted of rape of a minor in 2010 and has since been registered as a sex offender.
