White Sox skipper Tony La Russa out indefinitely
Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa will be away from the team indefinitely to undergo additional testing for health issues.
Further details of La Russa's medical testing have not been made public.
The team announced Wednesday that La Russa, 77, would return to his home in Arizona to "undergo additional testing in Arizona by his personal physicians."
Bench coach Miguel Cairo will continue to serve as acting manager
