U.S. Army Soldiers, Marines, and Special Forces conduct cold weather training at Fort Greely, Alaska, and Utqiagvik, Alaska during Exercise Arctic Edge 18. Arctic Edge is a biennial, large-scale, joint-forces training exercise that prepares and tests the U.S. military's ability to operate tactically in extreme cold-weather conditions found in Arctic environments.
