Abstract: The Air Traffic Management Technology Demonstration-1 (ATD-1) is a major applied research and development activity of NASA's Airspace Operations and Safety Program (AOSP). Abstract: The abilities of two different Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes codes to predict the effects of an active flow control device are evaluated. The flow control device consists of a blowing slot located on the upper surface of an NACA 0018 airfoil, near the leading edge.
