Joint statement by Baku, Yerevan opens up new opportunities for reconciliation - Zakharova
ArmInfo. The joint statement of Baku and Yerevan opens up new opportunities for reconciliation between Baku
and Yerevan, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today.
According to her, Moscow welcomes agreements on the exchange of
prisoners of war according to the "all for all" formula, which helps
strengthen trust between the parties and opens up additional
opportunities for reconciliation in line with the agreement between
the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, which were concluded
between 2020 and 2022.
As for the terms of signing the peace agreement, according to
Zakharova, it is decided by the parties themselves. "In turn, we are
ready to continue to assist our partners for a balanced agreement.
Such a document is intended to lay a reliable foundation for
sustainable peace and stability in the region," she said.
