I DIY'd Masks For My Whole Body And It Really Wasn't Worth It
Six masks in one day was not my best idea.
Hi, I'm Lauren, and I wish my life was like this:
Unfortunately, it's not. And because I have student debt and can't really drop bank at the spa, I decided to DIY affordable masks mostly using things I can find at home. I made six — yes, SIX — masks for different parts of my body in a day and things got so messy.

Lip Peel
I started with this lip peel because my lips are always chapped and my lipstick is constantly cracking. After wiping it off and applying lip balm, I was tempted to make out with everyone in the room so they could feel how soft and smooth my lips were.

Avocado Hair Mask
The avocado hair mask is one of the most popular DIY hair masks, so I thought I'd finally give it a try. Let me just say, I regret it, I regret it, I regret it. Not only was it SUPER messy, but I had to rinse my hair about five times afterwards to get all the chunks of avocado out. My hair was admittedly a little softer, but it didn't last long. I probably should've used a riper avocado, but still, it was too much to clean up after.
