I remember the landing as my dad got me and my sister up to watch it on tv.
Can't say it sparked much of an interest in space or space travel though but what's fascinating now, 50yrs on is that it's never happened since.

Its about 3hrs less than the rest of them get at her school, she teaches 3 A-Level (English) classes too so not sure if that makes a difference.
