Anyhow I see Gledhill is claiming the 2 top division are spliting to 10 teams each in 2024. Pinch of salt, but if that is the case Trinity's stay in SL, and Toulouse's for that matter, are likely to be over next year regardless.

I’ve it from a good source last season end that allegedly King didn’t get a fat salary increase.
He was offered a small increase and Wire called a bluff to the agent.
Apparently there wasn’t anyone in for him and eventually accepted Wire’s offer.

Well, that's 2 Monkeys off our backs this year
We are still in a 3 way fight for 12th spot and safety.....we have a huge 10 days coming up June 2-12 and before that I'd suggest we need to look at Newcastle as another "MUST WIN" game.....Plough Lane may well be cursed, but the mood will be a bit lighter this evening...I've even sent my son off to school here wearing his Broncos Top

Can’t believe that drivel took up 3 pages worth. Please keep to the topic rather than turning it into a nothing thread.

He’s fallen down the pecking order at Fev with all the new signings they’ve made this season. Being on loan at London was always going to be a temporary thing with him being settled with a young family up here.
If he does go to the Cougars he will rip it up in League 1 alongside Murrell.

Put up an excellent show at the 9's, only losing to WCC Finalists Leeds.

Having watched plenty of the Women's ICC World Cup earlier this year and already having tickets for the WRU world cup later this year, I believe this is a real area of opportunity and growth for clubs that truly embrace women's teams.
There's still a wildcard spot available for the 9's finals....it would be fantastic if a team from the south were invited. Читать дальше...
According to:
https://www.seriousaboutrl.com/every-su ... ubs-52581/
The OOC players at Wigan are
Thomas Leuluai, Liam Farrell, Jake Bibby, Ethan Havard, Bevan French, James McDonnell, Sam Powell.
I really hope we can keep hold of Havard. I’d be looking to retain Farrell and McDonnell. The rest I’m not so sure about.
TL - If Smith continues to impress and is in line for a starting berth next year I’d say he’s worth a player/coach contact as back up. I expect him to retire though. Читать дальше...
Sylvain Houles (Toulouse Coach) calls for exemption from relegation for Toulouse.
Has he no shame?

An entertaining match with the outcome in the balance up until the final hooter.
Not sure how we won, Oldham looked better structured & better coached.
Donny still give the appearance of a group that have only recently met. I guess there are injuries (although some news on this front from the club wouldn’t go amiss) and on/off loan arrangements don’t contribute to a cohesive set up.
Anyway, as the cliché goes, a win is a win. Onwards to the next challenge in the form of North Wales next week. Читать дальше...

But a year ago if we had had a referendum on this site about whether King should be offered a big contract to say you would have had a resounding YES vote. Same as when we were in contract talks with Currie.

Id give JJ a new deal peraonally different player now hes not in the hooking role, could certainley be a valuable player of the bench. One of worst performances the other week and he never played.
Hes not a popular player though so doubt many will agree, hes hard as nails.

The thought of Isa playing is scary enough. The thought of him playing at centre Vs Saints us terrifying. Halsall is the better option on all fronts.
