I don’t think Farrell will come however I was led to believe he wouldn’t count on the cap for his first season and only half would count the year after if Thomson does come I do think that it’s another clue that Smithies is gone. Aussie agent, O’Neil doing stint at 13 (possibly try to get Shorrocks resigned for cover for SR,LF), Leeming signed at 9, Thompson as prop and 13 cover. Maybe means Walters will be an out and out SR for us. Probably clutching at straws.

McGilivray’s is still decent but his problem is staying on the field, he hasn’t managed 20 games for a while now.

Mata’utia will be decent at Championship level and as said his versatility will be handy.

Thornley i’m less sure about. If we are signing Mata’utia i’d rather go with Croft, Pratt & Franco as options.

Aaron Lindop is a big, quick centre to keep am eye on. He is only in his first year U18 and was injured for the first half of the season but has still made quite a mark this year.Top try scorer with 16 atm including a sequence of 3,3,3,1 in his last four games. He played 5 games for the Reserves, 7 for the U18's and one for Lancs. Academy.

I thought I was the lone Moaning Minnie when I walked away from the game five seasons ago and not attended ever since. One post got it spot on when he posted the game is now over coached. In my opinion the rot set in with Wane at Wigan when he introduced wrestling as part of the training regime and made the game as dull as GrecoRoman wrestling. It's certainly going to be an emotional day one way or another. I remember being in London when we beat them to go up.

The balance of probability says we win today. North Wales have got slightly less than a 20% chance of spoiling our day. If we apply ourselves, don't have anyone sent off early, complete our sets and don't get any injuries (especially to Connor Robinson) we should be fine.

Conspiracy theories are great fun but are not worth the paper that they are written on.

Fact. We played really well and went toe to toe with one of the most consistent teams in the division that has a brilliant defensive record and we nearly won.

Our disallowed try was contentious but that's the way it goes, as disappointing as it was on the night. By the way, I think that we have more than our fair share of 'rub of the green' incidents during the season which we have benefitted from. Читать дальше...
