leeds, leicester and ipswich all played well at the weekend but didnt score. the performances are decent, just need to hit the net.

Agree with the rest of your post, the new coach would have to be backed on and off the field, I honestly don't think there is a any coach in the world who would get this team in the top 6 with the current set up.

They do look a decent side. But IMO its serious whataboutery to suggest that makes our performance against them somehow better. We need to be getting wins against some of the the best teams, particularly at home.

Prior to the game on Good Friday I was confident that if we remained relatively error free, maintained good discipline and kicked Saints into their own twenty then we would win. I did also predict that it would probably be a low scoring affair due to the poor forecast.

Well our discipline was shocking and we made numerous costly errors, yet only succumbed very late on from a winning position with only twelve players.

Just finished watching this on iplayer as I was away today. Fantastic result.
A lot of good points raised here.

Williams was outstanding. World class performance.
Harrison has come of age in these last 2 games and led from the front. (I now don't fear if Vaughan is out). He was an absolute animal out there. What an engine.
Ashtons finish was incredible but he was so good at bringing the ball out of defence.
