Great film, it has the better bits from all the past Alien films cherry picked and placed into it. If youve seen the older films it takes the shine off and they seem a bit 'done before', but i've had them on in the background in the past and not taken much notice so i did enjoy it.

Michael Fassbender is such a great actor. Strong female leads. Security guys who are hench bumbling idiots that touch things and feck everything up. Watching James Franco burn to death within 30 seconds of the film starting. Читать дальше...

Moved into a 2nd floor apartment ( top floor with loft and pitched roof above ) and thinking of removing a couple of load bearing walls to merge kitchen /dining room and then seperately create an en-suite )

A kitchen designer recommends a structural engineer and guesses he'll charge £250 ish for calcs and drawing with steel reccomendations etc.
On meeting the engineer he does the survey and reckons his fee will be much nearer £350-£370

structural work on a top floor FLAT?

I had to have permission from the management company to change the doors on a flat I owned. Same when I wanted the change the windows (had to be the right shade of brown). Sky dishes were not even allowed. Basically couldn't do jack without getting the ok, never mind structural work.

As someone has said, check with Management company, Freeholder, and conditions on the lease etc.
