On a slightly off topic note Gary Tyler, the subject of the UB40 hit Tyler, was released from prison last year after taking a manslaughter plea.
He had served 42 years for murder for shooting two white boys. He was tried as an adult at the age of 17 and found guilty by an all white jury in Louisiana.
This American justice system utterly stinks.

Apparently Rob is still in Tamworth A and E at the moment undergoing a rather delicate procedure which involves the removal of a whistle from his rectum area.

It was explanned to me during a tour of the (German) West Brewery in in Glasgow, that lager is a brewing process not a beer per se.
You can have both light and dark beers brewed using this method.
West do an excellent light beer called St Mungos ale, it looks like an ordinary lager but abv is 4.9%, You can get this all over the UK.
All of that said, my go-to tipple is Tennants. According to our guide at Tennants Brewery tour, the recipe is almost identical to Carling, but Carling is made using hard water.
