What a place that used to be. Everyone piling out of the clubs, pissed up trendies trying it on with the goths and rockers, fights breaking out at regular intervals, lonely lads hunting for a late night pick up, grabbing a burger from the greasy cafe then shouting up to the taxi rank, arguing with someone 'cause they're trying to nick your taxi and ending up sharing it with them.
Happy days.
We went to Boogies for an 18th birthday on a Thursday night, it was £1 a pint up to 10pm then £3 after so at 9.50pm we all bought 5 pints.... another good night out. We used to normally use snobs up town but at John Bright st, Ed number 7, Paramount and Boogies all got our custom followeed by a kebab from Navigation Street then a walk home either over Hockley flyover then through villa cross or down the A34 through Newtown , happy days.

Daughter is moving to a house where there is currently no Sky. Before I jump in and negotiate a package with them, can anybody share any experience with Now TV and broadband? Is it a viable alternative? She’s not fussed about the Sports package so Entertainment and kids tv is the real ask.
Interested in whether it’s cheaper, works well over broadband, easy to use, can you record programs etc.
TIA

R&J's was Steptoes for a while before becoming Pagoda Park - I had my 18th at Steptoes, slightly more upmarket than Top Cats in Newhall St where I must have attended about 30 18th parties from my year at school.

What "joke" do we think the Blues media team are dreaming up?
Dong Ren is taking training sessions in full Blues kit.
Kristiaan Speakman is pocketing 700 grand for the sale of Jude Bellingham.
Aitor Karanka is sitting through Dong's birthday dinner after being sacked.
Oh no, wait, all things really are true.
