If we're going to start choosing who we play against based on their govts record, we'll not be playing many international matches.
But having said that, the boycott of SA sport did have an effect on bringing down apartheid...how big an effect who knows.
But moving on from the politics, the finances and the alleged corruption and greenwashing, Qatar 2022 has always seemed mad to me.
A nation with no footballing history/pedigree at all

If you were in the middle of the African jungle would you prefer to be attacked by a tiger or a bear?
I think I’d prefer a tiger if I’m being totally honest.
Tigers only have legs whereas bears have arms.
Bears are just like incredibly strong hairy humans, Tigers are just cats.

Anyone else had problems with debris entering the battery compound?. Took the bike along a track mainly used by military vehicles, so very rough with sand & debris, it was also raining. Battery cut out so opened it up to find some dirt in and around the connection area, battery died so returned home.
Battery has been cutting in and out since so ran it through a clean with a hoover to remove sand/mud & dried battery areas with sealed bags and silica gel, works indoors but expecting it to cut out once out and about. Читать дальше...

In our last ten league and cup meetings at home we have won just twice, drawn two and lost six. Our last victory came in 2018, with Kieftenbeld, Maghoma, and Adams netting in a 3-0 win.
As for today, I fancy us to win 2-1.
What say you?
I absolutely love this show. It's great going back to the 90s. Can't quite believe the Gillespie numbers - £67k in a single day on bets. Madness.
Someone need to get to the root of the problem
It does. I do know though that some thieves prefer 2 wheels while making quick raids on places, recently saw stuff locally where a pair on a motorbike/moped were going round cutting off catalytic convertors off peoples drives on one. Maybe that's why he was targeted?
Nope
Off to the flower show today in London. Any of you lads down there today- we can find a corner to watch the game. Hope not to run into an DVB. KRO
Love Roy.
He's been a constant at St Andrews as long as I can remember.
13, disabled, and abused. Who are these people that will openly abuse kids like this. We all think we don’t know anyone that would be this much of a dick, but we must, these abusers must be people that know people.
Sickening. Great for the kid, a really middle finger. Just so heartbreaking, humanity is rotten. (I know that sounds melodramatic but it feels like it at the moment).

The truth is, it would be far far easier to publish a list of clubs not facing a financial meltdown.
They’ve communicated early, and what they’ve said isn’t a surprise. Not really anything to knock them about regarding this.
Gareth Southgate is eager to recall Greenwood for the first time since he was sent home for breaking the FA's Covid-19 protocols - but Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has intervened.
