Teams looking to get enough points to survive play a defensive block 442. Teams looking to push on play 5 in midfield. (Really good teams play 343). We can't play a single striker, so to have any hopes of moving on with this squad, we have to play 352. This squad can also play 442. It'll just mean another year of 1.5 points per game.
Blimey heartfelt but depressing.
If it were me, I would:
* start inanely high levels of comms about the stand refurb
* refund everyone 100% who has had to move seats and then supply them all with a free first-team Blues top to say sorry
* start proper food and drink/Matchday market
* paint the whole ground and smarten the place up
* get some events on with celeb fans..Stephen Knight (Peaky Blinders) that boxer bloke etc etc
There must be loads someone with a bit of nouse could do.
hi all 1st time poster
I am a season ticket holder and have watched the Blues since around 1962.
I want to put into words how i feel about the club as from nearly walking out at half time at the game against Forest.
By the way i had the privilege to bump into Jude this morning Saturday 9th and had a little chat as he was out running and he had all the time in his busy schedule to talk
Anyway here goes.
Blues are a dying club, crowds of 52,000 in the 70s... Читать дальше...
Has our coach driver left to drive a lorry then??
Haven’t they been calling us city too, lately. Tossers.
Some great views of the full pitch from the apartments directly at the back of where the fire was, almost backing up as executive boxes.
Anyone watching Forest Green v Swindon ?
Any idea why that goal was disallowed ?
FGR been poor today. topped off by that woeful pen.
A couple of lads I know have gone today (easy from Gloucester) just for a few beers and some footy in the sun.
They are then getting a taxi back to Gloucester (The new Meadow) to watch Gloucester city v Bradford park ave then pub for the England game later.
RIP.
Thankfully their music will live on
RIP.... Original drummer in The Beat and was still living locally. Only 70 and a damn fine drummer in a great band.
Roger, Saxa and now Everett gone.

There's football..like the 'non league' game I'll be going to this afternoon : 400 or so in, £7 max to get in £2.50 for pie 'n'peas, 22 lads on the pitch giving it plenty, skill, daftness, and plenty of honest challenges to keep the gerrintoem brigade happy along with reffing bloopers and almost certainly a few goals.
Then there's that odd mixture of high finance, international money laundering, primma donna behaviour that's called the Premier League.
I know which I'm getting to prefer.

I can recollect a couple of games where Maghoma seemed way off the pace but, even then, he didn't hide and continued to try to influence the game.
Certainly one of the best free signings we have made in the last 30 years.

Cumulatively we had over 86,000 for our home ties in the 10/11 cup run so the figures can’t be totals. Weird.
If anybody knows of any team looking for players my lad will be 7 in June but I'm not sure what the DOB cut off is for under 7,s? He's in year 2 now.
