Eckersley is in a great position in terms of getting minutes when you consider that he can play fullback, centre and wing and than add in that he can kick goals. He got better and better as the game went on. He’s got a great frame to build on as well.

Not sure why people are optimistic after today

If Hodgson had been in charge today and only beat Sheffield by 2 points with the team we played he'd been getting slaughtered

Like said earlier signings apart it's still the same players who were a shambles all last season

Smith is a great coach but he's not a miracle worker

I said to a mate the other day that Pontus and or Bamba made Cooper look good when they played.
Wober has done the same today with Koch having a very good game.

I watched him closely in the first half.
13 passes and only 3 found the man and 3 dribbles or runs with the ball and he lost it every time and one attempted tackle that he lost out on.
The second half he started the same and I stopped counting.
Admittedly he got better, slightly.
