Bluestaines final was great game and don't blame wenger for attacking tiny Taylor don't suppose he could believe a pro could be so late with tackle, that Croatian never the same player again.

Tbf I wanted Taylor banned. That tackle was awful, as was he.

Lost interest since the split mate. Used to be a big fan. Went off em a bit when they started going down the covers route.
I hate Arsenal. Chiefly because of the absolutely disgraceful way Wenger treated Martin Taylor after the tackle on Eduardo. Despicable for a so called professional manager to demand Taylor be banned. The bloke has no honour or grace. Didn't bother watching the final. No glamour to the cup final any more. The cost to the game of the selling of its soul to sky's money.
Yes, I stand corrected. I know my first game was in 1958, but couldn't remember when I saw Bertie obviously.
Your Dad.
If you are 50 this year how was your first game in the year you were born? Did your take you to St Ans as a babe in arms?
Same game for me. First game of the 1960-1961 season.
Great fight. Best man won. Backed him in play at 7/1 to win by stoppage. Brook has nothing to be ashamed of
3-3 draw with the Arsenal, our first game back in the top flight after nearly a decade away.
Having arrived in the world during the 2nd World War (1944) the closest game for me was almost a year later in the "National League South" season 1945-46. The first game of that season was on 25 August 1945......BCFC 0 West Ham United 1......!
The second game was a week later away against West Ham again.....lost again 2-3!
However BCFC recovered to become National League South Champions, winning the last game of the season away at Luton 3-0 to leapfrog the Vile and win the league on goal average (as it was then)! Читать дальше...
White rhino on now, it actually looks like a white rhino
I hope he wins, he's just a bit thick that's all :D
Am I the only person who thought thunderbirds was shite?
Harsh that.
I've changed my mind and now fancy Brook to win, after being sure Spence would be too good. Can't wait for this
Agreed.
And although I was hoping Che;lsea would win, because of the Arsenal fans, in the end I was glad Arsenal won - by far the better team on the day.
I just wish the bloke who sits in front of me had left it a little longer before bringing his two. They are clearly not interested and, as a result, a complete pain in the arse.
Personally I was 8 and hooked from the start.
Gil Merrick in goal for Blues that day.

Bertie Auld just been on Football Focus talking and singing about The Lisbon Lions. Same humour and passion as when I saw him play back in 1958 (I think). Irrespective of any sectarian nonsense I can remember being delighted that Celtic won that European Cup because Bert Auld was playing for them.
Kell Brook makes Gabby look like Einstein.

Its a true shame that they're now tarred with a general naffness because I will forever maintain that "Signing Off" is one of the UK's greatest debut albums and yet it fails to get rediscovered by younguns like many albums of that period do.
