If you were struggling with Brum to Bridgnorth train that was. We are on the 9.03 from Euston which should be easy enough to do.
I remember the bearded guy. It was always sung slowly
What , making a joke about a piece of fiction ? Perhaps I ought to be ashamed
You must be proud of that post. Well feckin done.
Me and the lad will be getting a taxi from Brum to Dudley, was going to suggest you could share the taxi and take on the fare from Dudley to Bridgnorth. I reckon £25 to £30 from Dudley which wouldn't be too bad if there were 3 of you.
as near as I could get to a 12ins black and white screen in our front room with half the street there and gambling,,many still hadn,t got a TV...we swapped the 9ins screen for a 12inch for the grand national that year...we were also only one of two families with a car,in the road, all the other dads worked at the Austin but couldn,t afford the cars ,their money then was very poor!!,
Yes , to act all sad and worried when wanting to shout about how the Vile are going to piss this league must be hard

The change to often partisan definitely happened before the claps replaced the LA LA LA
Funnily enough I'm living in Aberystwyth now. Seen a few lads in blues tops round this way before but they've all been holidaymakers
So looks like in 1968 "often partisan" wasn't the "default" lyric. Perhaps it morphed as you say. Interesting.
He didn't have to even though it meant he would have been paid more so fair play IMO.
Contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on anyway in football as Zola and Redknapp can testify but hey let's moan about the more successful manager for us out of the last three for getting us near the play offs on a budget reported last week of £6k per week for most of the squad.
Funny old game

This is from a 1968 Birmingham City players and supporters album...no mention of "often partisan" but worth a listen if you have Spotify....
