They took over the Tyrrell entry. By buying the Tyrrell corporate entity that owned it. They didn’t use any of Tyrrell’s premises and I don’t think they even used any staff. Certainly they did not treat Ken with much respect - which was one reason why many of the media loved it when they fell flat on their arse. It was only after CEO Craig Pollock and Villeneuve were eased out that Honda turned into a more serious outfit, and then Brawn.

The mark of a great comedic actor is his or (occasionally her) timing.
The two Ronnies, Morecombe & Wise, Hancock and Tommy Cooper had it in spades.
So did a lot of what you would call variety acts and slapstick . My personal favourite was Norman Wisdom.
Seems like a dying art these days with too much reliance on the visual gag or bad language (which has its place)

as a side note, if my memory serves me right I am sure he gave us Blues fans the two fingers when we played at Anfield in the league cup. We took quite a crowd and out sung the kop due to them not being really bothered and not turning up in their usual droves.
During the match, obviously Ray was getting some stick and probably the first time I have seen him unsettled, anyway something happened and he turned round and gave us the sign.

We have the oldest average squad age in the Championship.
In all four of the top English leagues, we have the fourth oldest. Only Crystal Palace, Tranmere and Port Vale have older.
As a standalone graphic it doesn't prove anything, but from my own personal opinion I think it does enforce the fact that we need some younger legs in the squad.

Radio 3 today (Sunday 15th) mike Brearley hopefully talking about 81 ( bothams ashes) and playing some of his favourite music.
To me Brearley embodies the perfect captain, tactician, strategist, psychologist and great slip fielder.

I prefer the old style Frankfurter pulled out of hot water tub with stewed onions and loads of tom sauce.
Turning up for night game after work it was a nice warming tea.
The new fangled ordinary sausage with fried onions doesn't cut it for me.
Was watching BBC breakfast this morning and they had a piece on coping with grief/death.... Why in this western civilisation is it pushed away and swept under the carpet as if its a total taboo subject because in other cultures its totally embraced... We are getting there with mental health like they said but this is totally out of bounds subject to most of us "until" it happens.. It was a good interesting piece that gets you thinking.

Just wondered if there are many on here that remember those days. St. Andrews on Saturday afternoon. Early evening The Argus. In our house at good old Forest Road off the Coventry Road Saturday night was bath night. The tin bath came in. The water was heated in big saucepans on the stove as we had no hot water. Juke Box Jury in the background. Apologies for a bit of Sunday morning nostalgia.
Last week, following a tame shot, the commentator said "he used his instep when he should have put his laces through it".
