one of the most entertaining cases I've ever followed.
Dr Freeman really was the gift that kept on giving but I will be gutted in the house of cards that Team Sky/Ineos is falls down. I loved watching their triumphs and they really did do so much for British cycling but with cycling it is always sensible to not be too naive.

The Tilton embankment sits atop an aquifer. The bolts connecting
all the steel frames rotting because of the moisture present in the cavity between the concrete and the ground beneath.
The artesian springs under the pitch were capped before the grass was laid, in 1906.
The concrete poured onto the original Tilton would've also capped the aquifer beneath. All of that was correct work undone when the bulldozers moved in to do the ground work on the slope.
