In fairness we did say they should push the Dewsbury game although I don’t think anyone had forseen this approach. As you say Smithers you simply could not make it up. Textbook incompetence.

It should be interesting on 25 April as according to the Bulls website we are entertaining Featherstone at Odsal at 19-45 exactly the same time and date as the Stock Car meeting!

Leeds v St Helens: St. Helens by 26
Wakefield v Salford: Wakefield by 10
Seems like Saints might be losing to all the relegation candidates. A weaker team than the one that lost to Toulouse named. Rhinos surely going to win.
One to look at if anyone fancies a last minute bet.

It’s a bit of a dilemma with young players.
To realise their full potential on the one hand they need to play as much as possible but by definition whilst in the learning stage they are performing at less than their potential.
To play them when you have a number to choose from equates to leaving out another young player with equal potential or someone with more experience whose performances are just as good or slightly better.
Not an easy or as straightforward choice.

He's played a handful of games for us and was only in the England squad due to many, many, many players being injured / unavailable. He's 20 years old and has proven himself a good option to stand in for King / Mata'utia when they are injured. There are also areas of his game that need some work, he's not ready yet to be starting centre for a club with top 4 aspirations, but certainly has good potential - like Thewlis and Longstaff his time will certainly come.
