Griffin been poor last 2 matches. So have a lot. Before then he was doing fine. Top centre last 2 years. Properly does needing moving to second row. But the flak the bloke gets is unbelievable. I know you wouldn't say it to his face

The gap between saints and the rest of SL is evident when you consider there isn’t one player from the rest of SL that would get in saints first 13. Wigan fans will shout “jai field” but there is no way he is anywhere near the class of Welsby. He’s just a sprinter playing rugby league who is only decent in broken play.

The match review panel have reviewed and banned players- Players wont actually be banned until next week and will be free to play on Monday so as to give them chance to appeal. Those who are to go to tribunal can also play. Ok fair enough I understand the necessity to allow an appeal….. So why bother doing it now?
Why not just review all the matches after the Easter period.
It’s just yet another example of amateur behaviour from the RFL.

Faxfan here , is it possible to find/employ a coach who can play expansive rugby at odsal ? The pitch quite clearly impacts the style of rugby that can be played , I’ve just watched the highlights and all the tries are scored from close range , Grix as a coach is basically an echo of tony smith and our threat is usually from long range especially last year , that expansive style of rugby is very difficult to execute on odsals pitch . So the club are surely going to need a new coach before too long. Who do people feel we could realistically target as a replacement?
It seems unlikely we have the resources to bring in an experienced head coach but perhaps more likely giving a SL assistant a shot. Few names that spring to mind:
Danny Orr - been an assistant for some time now, perhaps ready to make the step up?
Danny McGuire - probably unlikely he would leave KR and already being linked with Leeds.
