The talk about the South stand got me reminiscing of what was.

North Stand
This was like now just terracing probably the same but with no roof. At the back was the scoreboard operated by humans using metal numbers. It was primitive but could be seen from most parts of the ground. We had the blue wooden shed providing warm sustenance (it was a winter game then).

East Stand
The one stand virtually untouched except for the sponsors names across the top. It was where the players emerged... Читать дальше...

Make or break time for the side now. We lose this then we are adrift with very few chances of making up the points to catch them. Even if we win, we are still going to need a whole lot of luck.

I'm trying hard not to be negative and you would think on the back of a win, and having beaten them twice already away that we would beat them easy. Not so with us, it's building up for one of those massive anti climax games we're very specialist at but I hope I'm wrong!

See the latest on the above two is that cas are rumoured to have signed widdop (or in the throes of) and that Willy would like to keep Miller - which suggests that isnt a done deal

Can I mardily and belatedly point out to the people of Bradford and Look North, that there's a lot more to "Culture" than just a young person spitting out street poetry about how hard their life is. It's both valid and relevant but its a narrow aspect of the cultural diversity of the city and its all I saw on the coverage.

I can see this being a tough match Whitehaven should of got a bit of confidence from there win last week and it will be interesting how we respond to our good hiding at leigh. Keyes n jouffret are playing well and it makes sense , tbf he had one iffy game against Whitehaven at home but it’s difficult to break up the existing partnership, Morris shipped off to dewsbury for a couple of weeks too who has struggled to get in the side with gwaze and Murray playing well recently.
