I don't agree about the Amazon's/supermarkets etc - they provide good value - the smaller shop has to change their model to compete - offer something the customer wants to buy - it does have to be cheap. Amazon/Ebay have shown the way regarding on line and there are millions of small retailers now operating in this way. They just can't afford to pay the rent/business element of a retail operation.

Just to add a different perspective, I think you've been class this year and can definitely make the GF. You were criminally unlucky in the C cup final. The likes of Yates don't take a backwards step, McQueen should be on the shortlist for MOS, with Innes Senior you've got a winger for life who could maybe feature internationally 1 day. I do think Leutele will be a big miss. You absolutely deserve to be top 3 and the response from losing the final has been nothing short of sensational. I was a bit surprised with the King Wardle swap. Читать дальше...

Warrington have already put in a bid to sign him as he meets their criteria of not being very good at rugby league but wanting a massive contract and is big on social media

Finally those thinking Jowitt will save the day are likely to be dissapointed. As an attacking FB and under the high ball Jowitt is first class, but his defence, especially near the line remain very weak IMHO.

London Broncos next 2 homes are on the road.
This Sunday at home to Sheffield Eagles and the following Sunday at home to Fev both at Ebbsfleet FC Kuflink Stadium in Kent
Should all clubs play a game on the road every year to try and increase interest in the game?

Nadine strikes again but this time at Rugby League’s expense. I know she is the sports minister but let’s face it not one of the most challenging posts for a normal human being but not Nadine. If you are going to an event in theory to support our World Cup you would hope she would at least do some homework but no not Nadine. This was the woman who believed Channel 4 was funded by the taxpayers, so is it no surprise she quoted her most exciting rugby league moment was the drop kick she watched live at 1100hrs. Hardaker getting the ball ripped from a kick off too which lead to a try. Anyway Grant hasn't been given a game this week, that's pretty telling. He was dreadful, almost on a par with leeds pack.

On the local ITV Meridian News, there was a feature about Sundays game featuring the Leyland brothers returning to their old school for a training session.
At last something in the local media. Nothing in the local paper!

Fingers crossed .

Has anyone heard anything about the level of injury for Ricki? He's been excellent this season. I know he's not in the squad for tomorrow.

I'd prefer Sunday afternoon as our "default" for home games.
Probably not too great for corporate sales but Sunday afternoon may as you say entice more "family" ticket sales if we can expand the fan village concept.
