A certainty in my opinion for a centre spot for the exiles in next week's international versus England. Very good captain and leader for HKR>

Tony's cunning short restart plan worked a real treat. Exactly what you need in a tight game with injuries. Go behind, take a needless risk, concede, repeat. The GOAT.

Not wrong on another aspect too.
He is definitely from West Hull. Maybe not a supporter, but certainly has a bit of a soft spot for them.
You tan take the man out of Hull, but can you take the Hull out of the man

A comfortable win with any number of the first 17 missing.
We all have our stand out moments and players but to me Harry Smith's goal kicking was exceptional.
Most of our tries were wide out and Harry kicking so many was a stand out performance for me.

I'm not sure how 'available' he actually was for the CC final, but i would imagine that him not being picked for it had a large bearing on his decision. He is no doubt thinking that if he is good enough for England, how can he not be good enough to play as first choice at club level. Personally i would have put him in this year over Cudjoe simply because he is the future, but i understand that sends a bad message to the team. A fully fit Wardle who can string a long set of games together is an absolute asset... Читать дальше...

On the face of it, the fee may be lower than expected but I could imagine the club didn't want to draw it out longer than needed. Seems like teams are getting business done early with the short off season. Maybe the club need to move quickly on their targets and haggling for an extra £5-10 million for KP would end up costing more if they miss out. We will see.
Going to be an interesting one given their current injury worries and current drop in form.
We will likely lose Thompson and Tetevano to bans, to add to Holroyd and Mustapha, with Briscoe out with injury. Hopefully Smith will return and I’d swap Sezer and Myler back round after Sezers performance last week.

The questions weren't checked before hand i can tell you that as i was there and we were free to ask anything we liked.
There were a lot of questions that didn't get asked on the night as we ran out of time unfortunately.....
Questions can still be directed at Wire fans panel on twitter and we can try to get any answers.
Thanks

Well, on today's performance we look set for more embarrassment, we are that bad ! I feel sorry for WP, this is not his team, he did not
But these players, we are 400I down, there is no way we will e stronger next year ! The outcome is set, we battle on until we fail, law of averages ! One day it will be a dark day, sadly.

My top tip for next week is - if you see an opposition player that can barely stand up and is hobbling everywhere, attack him, not the other corner

Well, after today if we cannot afford the players who are leaving for more money ! Then, players of lessor ability & cost means we are indeed a championship team ! Even Toulouse have not lost like this - they try harder, agreed we have won 5 games, we are on target for our usual 6 to 8 games, we rarely win 10 or more games ! For anybody to defend the current situation is not facing up to the truth !

He was Handy for Cas back in 2017 & 2018 I thought and with us releasing Mellor & Broadbent going on Loan would make sense if we was getting him for rest of this season, plus now Tetevano will be missing for a period with suspension. I'd take him for rest of the season and if he settles down well offere him a extension for next season and beyond Springer & Sangare offer more than Tetevano & Prior now.

I hope those of the rose tinted now accept that our squad is neither good enough or deep enough for another season. We cannot keep signing players to fill shirts purely because the fact they save the club money.
I wonder if you all still believe that by adding players from the academy is really the answer.
The decision to play Gaskell and not Jowitt is down to the coach just like selecting one of our shirt fillers instead of what assisted us to victory two weeks ago. Читать дальше...

Same here.
To me, Powell comes across as an old fashioned "ranter and raver" in your Alex Murphy/Tony Barrow mould, rather than an "arm around the shoulder" Tony Smith kind of guy. Smith showed his determination with Gleeson, rather than Powell's "throwing baby and bath water" approach. That's (to me) what was needed.
Wigan will win Grand Final
England will win World Cup Final
Just think if that prediction were to come true a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Aussie/Stains camp
This is why I watch Rugby League more in hope than reality, but you never know.
I did predict Wigan would win Challenge cup so you never know again.
