England should have won the game, they are the better team but they allowed themselves to be mugged by a Samoan performance built on Englands own complacency.
All week they’ll have been talking the talk, steeling each other against any thought that Samoa would be as bad as they were in game one, making sure that there was no chance they’d take Samoa lightly, it didn’t work!
1% of subconscious complacency is all it takes and you’ll find yourself caught in a battle that not going your way... Читать дальше...

Didn't the last final at Old Trafford sell out before the tournament began? Significantly less than 2013 would be a poor outcome. A much better atmosphere on this site lately. The club really looks to be making an effort so let's get behind them. I am certainly a lot more optimistic about next season.

I wouldn't be surprised if we are a springboard back to Wigan tbh. Him & Wane seem to have a good working relationship.

I reckon we'll go ok. Proper strike from both centres changes the landscape entirely for the halves in particular. I think Smith came up with some inventive solutions to inherited problems last year but he's already unpicked a lot of the mess. So while I can see changes to the spine a year hence I don't think it'll be total upheaval. Though if we were to have a s### season, I doubt he'd sit on his hands.

Got an issue that it won't allow renewal online. Have emailed the club about the problem as it might be affecting more than just me.
They've made a great decision bringing the Wolf Pack back at £26. Definitely made it easy for me to go games in the 90's when it was £10.

Great signing.
Looking forward to seeing him in the blue & amber.

So now the squad looks finalised what do we think ? .
The squad certainly looks to be more balanced and abit more sturdy in depth.
Given the signings have mostly been younger/ unproven / etc I think RS has work to do but if we can keep our best team out more often I think we should be top 4-5

How many times did Williams get tackled with the ball late in the tackle count?
you would not have seen Sneyd getting tackled with the ball.
it's just my opinion.

Mitch and Sao being involved in the World Cup games and rightly deserve a few more weeks off. Has anyone heard when Hoy and Clifford will arrive? IMO they should be here asap, seeing they’re both integral to the rebuild, by all means let them return to Oz for the holiday break.
drove past early this morning and there was a load of what looked 'earth' piled in front of the donny rd turnstiles, not sure where that has come from. north stand maybe - hope that its progressing.
The stand really is taking shape and wont be too long until the steel skeleton is full up. I guess not much work will be done today!

To be fair pack players don’t normally hit their prime until late 20’s early 30’s. Lees, Oledski, Batchelor, Knowles etc all have that to come. Pearce-Paul will develop too over there. Ryan Sutton may be in contention if he carries on playing well over there. Luke Thompson will be around. S

Key area now is to start now retention for 2024, we have a lot of players OOC and I have no doubt that Radford will be looking at our players particularly Sao, not everyone but him Satae, Fash and Brown are key IMO.
