Cas's away effort. Bizarrely there's a debate over on their board - evenly split I might add - over whether it's blue or black..

I wish him luck as well. Agree with Lurch above. I suspect he will go there for a couple of years, learn loads and come back to superleague

There has not been any announcement yet, that we have signed Drinkwater, other than the heads-up on here from Paul (Who is usually correct).

Its a good job no other player gave a interception pass, dropped the ball from a kick, missed a tackle, gave a forward pass, knocked on etc etc.
Its a team game not a blame game, stop looking for faults we all saw some mistakes from different players from different teams not just the one.
Its so boring and tedious now,we lost, move on and look forward to a new season and hopefully more internationals.

Strange one this.
I cannot remember if Michael was given this role to soften the blow when Yates was made captain in Feb, or whether he had such a role before when Sezer was Captain?
Either way, to me, it would seem like a good time to 'retire the shirt' now and go back to having just one Captain.

You don't have to go that far back.
How can anyone ever forget Klein's performance against us in the play off game at Wigan.
Following that he was deported to Australia for crimes against rugby league and should never have been allowed near the game again. That he is now considered a top referee speaks volumes for the appalling standard of refereeing throughout the entire game.

Really good interview with David Riolo NRL “super agent” on the James Graham podcast on how that process works and why clubs are sometimes so keen to do it.

Hi all,
Just in the process of booking the Catalans trip, we went before Covid to the disastrous Nou Camp game and we stayed in Calella. This seemed to be popular with Wigan fans, is this still the case? Or do people tend to stay Lloret de Mar or Perpignan for the normal fixture?

Can't say England didn't deserve it. And that French ref was disgraceful. Never seen anything like it.

There's always clubs, both here and in Aus, trying to move players on to make space in their salary cap.
We're here ready for those players, and if the parent club is really desperate they will pay part of the wages to get the player here.
With Miller, for example Hull pretty much paid his wages because they wanted rid of him.
I'm confident we will get a couple of good players in before the season starts, maybe have room left for a mid-season transfer or loan deal too. Читать дальше...

Firstly I don't think Mago is a Championship player even in his current guise. Would be a waste of a potential asset for a SL side and he's good entertainment value.
Still believe there's a good player in him if we were to get him fit - part of me wonders whether something has emerged which means it would be next to impossible to get him fit aka George Burgess.
Also given it looks like the club want him out it makes me wonder why he had pretty much a guaranteed spot in the 17 last season. Читать дальше...
I’d love to sign Frizell but wouldn’t touch JWH. The squads depth will be tested if it’s Bateman and Mago out and just one in but it does feel like we desperately need a bit more star quality in the pack, should Bateman be going.

I went for a cuppa at a local cafe the other day, £4.50!
I paid and sat down, they shouted (no table service) “pot of tea” so I went up and collected a cup & saucer, tea bag, little jug of milk and a pot with hot water in it, the sugar was on the table.
£4.50 If I’d just wanted the ingredients I’d have gone to Asda
£4.50 and I still had to make the f*@%@*g tea myself!
I could have stayed home and done that

We haven't used them, unless some signing have been made but not announced, 3 out in Fifita, Miller,Tinny, with only Proctor coming in as it currently stands
Nothing yet confirmed with Mago.
I went to the final and it was an enjoyable afternoon/evening.
Australia are an incredibly disciplined and ruthless side. They score when they have the chance and they have a really good defensive shape and effort.
One thing that stood out for me from the game is something I have seen a lot of over the last couple of years is the number of defending players in the tackle and if those players are all really having an impact on the tackle. The simple answer is no not all of those players are impacting the tackle. Читать дальше...
