I see Patton's definitely staying. There's an interview doing the rounds at the moment. If he stays on the straight and narrow then that's a bonus and means we could play Lilley at hooker. That's his best position IMO.

If so totally shocked. I know he was young but I’ve been friendly with him on here for years and for some reason I thought he was even younger, the same age as my kids, about 30. He seemed to have a very young outlook on life in the nicest way.
Really sad, far too young and positive to die.

I would hope it is not a lack of funds after what they said at the fans forum. Mick gledhill did say a while ago that some clubs are holding back from signing players until they see what grading they get from img but who knows if that is true or not. From my point of view i would still like to see some players brought in to replace worthington and aston as well as joe martin. In last week's copy of League Express was a letter from me about how the mental health of some players may suffer when they finish playing, of some referees when they finish refereeing and of some supporters as they grow old. My suggestion on how to stop this happening or maybe just slow it down is to take up the past time or hobby of writing a novel based on your own life.

It's a shame didn't work with someone like Bielsa earlier in his career, he could have been a European level player, but his days a regular starter in the PL are done.

I got told a couple of days ago that we have lost another dedicated supporter - a guy called Dave Ford, who was only 52, suddenly passed away earlier this week. I do recognise him from the lower North stand and apparently he used to be on the Supporters Trust Committee.

On the Line
Watched the new Mel Gibson offering, another lockdown film with a small cast and fewer locations and it´s a bit meh!
It has some good reviews on the film sites but you can see the twist coming from very early on, although that did elevate it a little beyond a run-of-the-mill ´psycho takes your wife hostage and you have to get her back´ yarn. It´s watchable, but nothing more than a solid 5 or generous 6.
