Bradford Bulls • Re: Transfer talk
The club are fairly sure there’ll be one more signing before the new year. Also that recruitment will continue into next year as well.

The shirts seem to be quite complementary. Everyone will like one of them I think. Also, the home shirt looked more appealing in person rather than the social media pictures of it

Degsy has apparently spent 50k on the show before the kick off at the start of the season.
Should be interesting what he has in mind.

We aren't Premier League, but many of the lower leagues are similar and clubs almost always run at a loss if not break even, only a hadful of clubs in any UK sport runs at the profit.

Shaw totally writing us off, grading our recruitment at a C and having us 11th below Leigh, we won't win the league, but I'm very confident we will at do better than that.
Recruitment is much better than a C on paper, big improvement than last season, player for player.

I do remember the excitement in Jonathon Davies (Challenge Cup) when he saw Philbin coming on after about 25 minutes followed shortly by Sitaleki Akauola. They had a spell (a few years back) where they were both very physical lively boys.
People rating C/D clearly have no idea what Rohan is trying to do. We've had a massive turnover within the limitations of the salary cap, while adding much needed size to the pack and depth across a number of positions. We still have weaknesses, as our spine really isn't Sts standard as a group, but that will have to wait to 2024. Anyone expecting us to sign a bunch of superstars clearly doesn't understand how the cap works or how you reboot a team using homegrown talent at the core. It takes years... Читать дальше...
Michael Lawrence. Good choice IMO. Widely respected, experienced, in great physical shape, capable of playing long periods.
Bodene Thompson named as vice captain.

I thought Drameh did ok when he came on and was better than Kristenson.
Ayling better than previous game and Rodrigo led the line well.
For me Gnonto was our best player .
Joffy I`m still not sure about although has not had too many 90 minutes to show what he can do.
All in all more structure and control to the game in Spain last week against a decent side last night.

MOS is a novelty bet and gets offered only for a short period prior to the season kick off.
It’ll be January.

I know it’s not much but did you see on the Broncos newsletter but the club is launching a bobble hat with Odballs who sell them to raise awareness and donate funds to testicular and other cancer charities. The hat is black, red and white in colour which I’m hoping is a sign of a return to those colours this season.

The Super League table prediction, by Matt Shaw, in Yorkshire Live is very cheerful festive reading for us.
Yes he has Saints to win & Wakey bottom, as all other pundits seem to have.
But Leeds, Cats & Hull in the bottom 6!
Fartown?.... Won't spoil your fun.......but well worth a look.

Not sure what the next phase is. Safety netting was installed on the roof girders last week. I’ve no idea why except to protect any working below, but then what work needs to be done above the netting? I hope the concrete terracing blocks are going in next, this will change the whole look of the stand.

Hi eW, I fully respect your opinion on the the final standings next season because you are totally entitled to that . I would also like to point out that you guys are going into the unknown with hopeful performances straight away with all the changes you have made. It's also worth noting that you need to gel pretty quickly early doors, and this may or may not transpire especially after your poor run in last season . If this doesn't turn out the way you want it to (and i... Читать дальше...

Was I not calling you Skint RLFC months before your woeful accounts were published?. Listen. As someone on redvee pointed out, Wigan fans love to associate their club with any big player that’s available even though you are skint and haven’t signed a big name player for about 10 years but Bateman is definitely staying next season
