Absolutely not mentioned in tomorrow’s League Express! But they did share about Sam Eseh “will complete for a place a place in a pack that will also include Australian prop Jai Whitbread, who recently penned a contract extension through to 2025.”
So maybe we will read about Corey in the next few weeks.

I for one know the wealth of our owners far outweighs the keighleys owners that's just facts, so you can eliminate all those factors by just saying the owners lack the ambition and drive to make this club a championship one. They have the money to take the dons into the championship, they have the money to invest in the rovers to be at least a league 1 side and they have the resources to get the belles back in the super league where they once was but they would prefer to go into their old age plodding along with no dramas. He has just confirmed in post game interview on Premier.
Fantastic news.
Also said some big names still to be announced.
Adrian Lam is a class guy.
One happy Leyther

That's the role I thought he was given, as he didn't play much rugby. A baffling signing.

We definitely looked rusty, Aaronson and Harrison were poor, especially. If fit, Bamford has to play every possible minute we can get out of him, because even with 10 men we looked much better in the final third with him on.

Unbelievable that in the same post you called McIlorum a penalty machine and advocated for Bentley to be selected.

Well a point is better than none.
Gritty defensive performance against a toothless Villa.
I know I`m no fan of Harrison or Firpo so can someone tell me I`m biased?
Firpo`s defence is shocking and Harrison having watched him closely just doesn`t seem to know what is going on around him.
Even though Cooper made a couple of mistakes he does seem to martial the backline better.
Messlier again rocks and diamonds.

Yeh, I'm looking forward to some of the games.
But I do expect England to totally underwhelm.
Wane is a bit of a joke.
Short of centres, how is Hardaker not in. I guess we all know why. And what about Wardle?
All those back rowers, but no Bentley or Mcqueen?
Cooper and Hill are finished. Why not try English or Dupree as back up? And what's up with Sutton?
Sneyd in the halves? He will get totally exposed in defence. I'd have rather seen Harry Smith or Will Pryce in the squad. Читать дальше...
Again watching Leigh there’s a few cracking forwards I hope we are looking at in O’Donnell and Nakubwaii

We have to face up to the fact that we overestimate the quality of a lot of players, who perform in super league but look out of their depth against Austrailia.
In the past though, we've had a least a few 'top-quality' players (Sculthorpe, peacock, etc) whereas now, even taking into account injuries I don't think there's any top top quality. It's a very meh squad.
Put it into perspective though, we're basically relying on players from a few small northern English pit towns. It's David and Goliath. Читать дальше...

Three current showpiece events.
Magic: I've attended them all, apart from Liverpool, only because Wakefield take part so wouldn't be interested in any alternative event without us.
Wembley: Rugby League tradition to attend regardless of finalists.
Grand Final: Two club game of no interest to me.

With rugby league it always feels like a get-rich-quick scheme. Looking for the next magic bullet, the next shortcut to make it big. A new playoff format, a new competition structure, more teams, less teams, more loop fixtures, less loop fixtures, more games against the top teams (remember super 8's? why did we get rid of that?) The list just goes on and on. Remember club call? It's sad looking back at all these numerous different schemes, ultimately fruitless but never destined to make any difference anyway. Batley are a good honest team, with a hard working pack and a decent spine. When facing Leigh they meet force with a greater force and for this reason alone Leigh should come out on top.
The game at Mount Unpleasant was a real turning point. Premier Sport turned up expecting a ding dong do. What they got was a tour de force, with Leigh scoring down the hill and up the hill. The pitch will also neutralise Batley, who like going to Post Office Road and using their pitch to Batley's advantage. Читать дальше...

It won't matter what you do. IMG will want franchises for big city teams through Britain. They won't want small town teams. Over the 12 year period they will have a top league of franchised teams.
