Yeh his work rate is phenomenal.
But jeez, NZ have got some formidable forwards.
Really allows their half backs to shine.

I think Wigan have a lot of work to do with Toby King - he's looked well off the pace for both Huddersfield and Ireland.

I like it. A nice homage to the original Trinity shirt from when the club started with the blue/dark blue hoops, and matches with the original Wakefield coat of arms gold fleur de lys on a blue background.

Is the disciplinary we have had all year just not a thing in the World Cup? That tackle from JWH is a red card this year all day long, not even close.
Hicks gives him 10 mins? Is it just different rules for the World Cup?

Don't shoot me down for being optimistic about our chances next year.
We know two Championship clubs have asked players and staff to take a small % pay cut which will impact on recruitment.
The key for mine is the Walker, Holmes, Lilley and Patton spine and how that comes together.
We haven't been blessed with continuity in those key positions since 2014.
I seem to recall a certain poster on here calling me crazy for suggesting we bring Lee Greenwood in...

Don't think most London fans was alienated by the location, I was dubious at first, but the two times I attended, it was pretty easy to get to. The reasons for not going where much more related to the offering served up and current management than where PL was situated.
London fans was more agaisnt the move owing to the cost of hiring the stadium, and the fact that we have to train at different facilites, and the fact the 2nd team have to play in a different venue (while at Ealing we all played at one place).

The Pretty Reckless yesterday evening at Manchester Academy (1).
The first time I have seen Taylor Momsen & Co and view them as pretty much in a similar vein to Halestorm (not a bad thing).

What would we have done without this bloke. Yes he's made mistakes who hasn't but boy he's been good for us. Once again he's trying his best to give us a team which will hopefully bring us success . Thank you Mr Pearson

We’ll still be a work in progress next year, especially considering how many could potentially be leaving the year after.
As long as we’ve got a team of triers we can get behind and feel good about supporting the team, win or lose, I’ll be happy with that for now.

Nearly as much as the new signings, I’m looking forward to seeing how TS can develop some of the existing players.
Players like McNamara and Jordan Lane still haven’t realised their potential for me, and TS might be the one to help them fulfill it.
Also think Jack Brown is tailor made for development under the new coach.

Teeside Live reporting that Middlesbrough's mayor spent 250k on the World Cup bid and sadly sales arent going well.
Would love to see a breakdown of what that has been spent on. If the World Cup team have managed to get a huge hosting fee then it makes sense why they seem quite blase about low sales as the money is already in the bank. But quite shocking what tax payer money is being spent on and it clearly isnt being spent on effective marketing by anyone!

We know IMG will be assessing club's professionalism in all aspects; if Beamont's approach to the rebrand tells us anything (refusing to employ professional designers to develop the new brand, producing something amateurish and most of all not digital friendly which will need starting from scratch to be acceptable, no website etc) it's that his approach involves a strong element of short-termism, a predictable aversion to the use of experts and a complete disinterest...
