Wakefield Trinity • Re: World Cup
Big miss match but Scotland did themselves no favours with multiple errors between that 1st minute one and that 89th minute one.

Risky for Australia resting half their side. They nearly blew it.

Dont mind Dewsbury Rams either as natural links with Heavy Woolen area.
As far as Leeds goes , think Loiners is also good and unique, so why did they choose Rhinos
Finally Flat cappers suits Fev , that would be good as a rebrand.

I’m pleased another tranche of Academy players is being promoted to the 1st team (and there should always be a place for someone called Jensen Monk in any outfit) but the mention f the fact that training resumes on 1 st November is a worry. I’ve never run a Sports club but I assume you’d want as near as possible your squad to train from day one so if that’s true, we’ve recruited one player and one L1 project. Does that make us stronger than the team that lost the last two home games. I’ve got to say it’s difficult to say that. Читать дальше...
Just renewed and checking the list of benefits available to those that just can’t cut the bonds. Anyone know how the reductions on World Cup tickets works and how much discount, cheers

I'm sure we'll bet on the look out to add depth, quality and youth where it is needed - but it's great to see such a good quad assembled at this stage of proceedings.
Big congratulations and thanks to Derek, Chris, Adrian & team(s) for the work and commitment to our great club.

Wonder if it will be the same colours and look (white with red and blue stripes) as per the 150 year hat/scarf offering.....???

The club are speaking to Kyle Laybutt (PNG #7) as a potential half or centre, but I believe he's holding out for a deal from the Cowboys having been on a training contract with them.
On another thread I noticed someone mentioned we're looking to the Championship for a centre. I know the club have spoken to Ryan Shaw a few times, but that's going back at least 8 weeks now. He would be a cheap option as cover.

None of the weekday games have sold out of the lowest pricing categories, so people can still go affordably but I think they see the highest price tickets and instantly decide not for me...every game on BBC doesn't help either, the 2013 world cup only had 7 on BBC so people were more likely to go to the game

I'll be waiting to see who else signs, whether they balloon in size, whether existing players turn up fit and whether they have the right attitude before I get over excited. SMTM certainly has the gift of the gab but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
While we've got rid of one player from last year who was rumoured to be a bad influence on younger players another remains that we've been trying to engineer out of the club apparently. No takers yet as his reputation is well known. Читать дальше...

WW69,
Thanks for joining in.
I dont hate all Germans,or anyone else.
But I dont forget that RL was banned for 100 years in the armed forces due to the control of Union had.
It took Local MPs to badger the armed forces to accept RL in the 90s,so yes over 100 years.

Haha
Reckon Derek has spent an evening (after a few shandies) trawling Google images found one and thought "that will do", save image as "Leigh Leperds" and sent off to the shirt manufacturers.
Apparently the reason behind it? His love for leopards!!
He's the kind of person that will have a pub bar in his front room with leopard print and sheepskin rugs all over the house.
The man's a lunatic, I give him 12hrs on twitter before he's offering to fight someone again.
